Zoom Visit FAQ:
Q: Is there a fee for you to visit my bookclub?
A: Nope!
Q: Do we have to dress up?
A: You should be as casual as possible.
Q: Naked?
A: Not that casual please.
Q: Do we need to prepare anything? A presentation? Questions?
A: You don't need to prepare a thing. Book club visits are very casual. I show up on your screen. You and yours get to ask whatever you want. I try my best to answer. That's it!
Q: What if my book group meets in-person instead of online?
A: You can pass me around on a tablet, project me from a laptop, gather round a phone. If it works for you, it works for me.
Q: Can we invite anyone we want?
A: The more the merrier.
Q: How long can you come for?
A: I usually meet with book clubs for 30 minutes to an hour. Think about whether you want to invite me for right when your book club begins or whether you'd prefer some time to drink/eat/chat/discuss/settle in before I "arrive." Keep in mind that I'm on the west coast, and let me know what time zone you're in when you submit a request.
